Best web hosting for ecommerce | Increase your sales!

– When it comes to hosting for your new small jewelry store or maybe even a larger business, it's a lot more important to spend some time finding the right e-commerce hosting platform. The right provider for the right project means save money and save time. And when you sell online, these factors become extra important. Hey, I'm Mike from CyberNews and I'm here to tackle my very first web hosting list. So if you like it, don't be shy, press that dang like button, will you? I tested lots of different hosts.

Surf forms made a list of the best hosting providers for e-commerce, so let's begin. Can't wait to get this out. (upbeat music) Okay, so did you know know in a recent study that it was discovered that more than 60% of users will abandon a site if it loads for more than three seconds? Yikes, though, there are a lot of other things that do come into play here. Not only does your store speed matter but your audience size and location does too. Another important aspect for the best hosting web companies that I looked into, stability. Look, loading fast is great but if your web store just crashes that's definitely a customer or eight lost.

The last major aspect is security. When you don't wanna look unsafe or untrustworthy to your visitors, not when there's so much competition because those people will just go elsewhere to more safe stores, but it's not just the way users see you. In order to get PCI approval or pass other regulations, your website must meet certain security standards. Now that's just touching the surface with all of that considered. So what are the best choices that you can fully trust at this point? SiteGround hosting ticks all the boxes when it comes to the best e-commerce hosting. Giving you extremely fast servers with the newest technology inside them, and even better, a control panel that makes managing everything a breeze, even for beginners. Now SiteGround is not the cheapest e-commerce hosting provider on the list, that's for sure, but it just may be the best WordPress e-commerce hosting provider out there. As for business aspects, you get unlimited professional email accounts and SSL is enabled automatically with every website so you can protect all of your user sensitive data.

If you already have an online shop somewhere else, well, you can the free eShop transfer options to transfer everything to the SiteGround e-commerce platform seamlessly. As for SiteGround's trump card it's its Performance. SiteGround develops its own tools for making the best web hosting experience for WordPress while making your sites as fast as possible. This includes its own custom PHP setup, 3-level caching, NGINX web server and many more onsite optimizations.

This allows SiteGround to load a fully built e-commerce WordPress design site with WooCommerce and products in it in around 1.1 seconds, amazing. Considering that three second limit that I mentioned before? Yeah, that's more than an excellent result and without really pushing all the available optimizations to the max. So there's even some room to improve. After my testing of the stability of the site for two months, SiteGround remained up with 99.99% of uptime with just five minutes of downtime in total. Okay, now remember those stable servers that I mentioned? Well, to test how good each provider was, I sent 50 virtual users to browse my website at the same time.

Okay, now 50 might not sound like a lot, but even bigger sites rarely get 50 users browsing simultaneously. So it's actually quite a good real world benchmark. And as you can see here there were no failures and the overall response timeline was stable. Meaning that the server didn't have any performance damaging spikes. Since security is also a part of your hosting experience, SiteGround takes it very seriously with constant monitoring, web application firewalls, WAF, daily automatic backups, a free SSL certificate and many more improvements.

Apart from the first plan StartUp every other option will be great for any e-commerce website. GrowBig is great if you're just getting started. While GoGeek will affordably fit in in your bigger stores. If you have a really important or larger e-commerce store, I'd suggest going with cloud hosting plans. Okay, if you find any of these hosting providers as the one you need, then don't forget to use the links down in the description below. These will give you the freshest deals on all hosting plans while also helping our channel out. We affiliated which means we can actually review products without the need of sponsors and we get to tell it like it is. So with that, let's get back to telling it like it is. Now with all of the facts laid before you, SiteGround is one of the best hosting providers for any kind of e-commerce business when you wanna take things a little more seriously.

You get great performance, lots of security measures and it's all easy to control. But if you're looking for a more budget friendly option that still has great performance and features, then look no further than Hostinger. This is truly affordable e-commerce hosting but the technology used is quite impressive. And to top it all off, it's easy to manage on your own no matter your skill level, because of its hPanel and for a small to medium store the feature package is more than sufficient. I was able to install WordPress easily either with WooCommerce because of their one-click installation process, or if you prefer a Magento or PrestaShop, that's possible too.

Top of the line web hosting should be fast. Hostinger e-commerce uses LiteSpeed Web Servers for all of its hosted websites. Apart from improving your site's general loading times, it comes with a cache plugin that allows you to optimize your store even more. So as with SiteGround I also tried Hostinger's performance on the cheapest shared hosting plans, and it did surprisingly well. Loading the same setup in around 1.6 seconds and that is no small deal when your price is so much lower. As for how stable your site will be, well, Hostinger sort of demonstrated the same results, having just five minutes of downtime and scrolling a 100% uptime in a two-month period. What's naturally more limited is your website's capacity. Running the same stress test as before showed that there were quite a few spikes in response with those 50 virtual users at the same time. Now just to reiterate, 50 users at the same time is quite a lot and we are testing on the cheapest shared hosting plan but if we drop the count to 25 users, well, the stress test results become much better.

So for any small store, the cheapest plan will be more than enough, but for a mid-tier project I might suggest going with the business shared hosting plan or Cloud VPS. All Hostinger hosting packages come with weekly or even daily website backups, free SSL certificates, professional email accounts and different server locations around the world. Sure, not every plan here will be amazing for e-commerce since the cheapest plans are more oriented for personal smaller sites. Hostinger is one of the cheapest e-commerce hosting providers but just be mindful about the plan that you actually choose. And remember, going with the cloud hosting virtual private server would be your best choice for selling online.

Okay, so the best way to describe Hostinger is it's like cheap web hosting done right. It's fast, has tons of features and is quite easy to manage whether it's shared hosting or VPS. It delivers a great hosting experience for an affordable price, so what more can we humble humans ask for? Okay, so I really appreciate you guys watching this video. I mean, it does take a lot of work, so thank you seriously. And if you made it here, well, hey, why not give this video a like and perhaps subscribe to our channel so you can get more awesome info like this.

Okay, now, while both of these providers have shared hosting options that are great for small to medium online businesses the same can't be said about Liquid Web because it has no shared hosting plans. Liquid Web is a heavy hitter, which makes it one of the best e-commerce hosting plans, especially given their powerful, managed virtual private servers alongside their 100% uptime agreement. They're basically the best option for any mission critical or large e-commerce website. While offering a mode for advanced hosting setup, Liquid Web is still super easy to use and makes managing your website easy enough for everyone involved. It offers a smooth one-click install process with the most popular CMS, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and the manage part means that you don't have to deal with updating and managing your server or backend. Everything is done by Liquid Web professionals and that's expected from any well oil VPS. The performance here is quite astounding. Now do keep in mind that you can still optimize a lot of performance on your own here, but even with the defaults, Liquid Web loaded the same WordPress site with e-commerce functionality in just 1.1 seconds.

So the cheapest VPS here is on par with SiteGround with regards to speed, which again is almost three times faster than the user fall off limit of three seconds. And as for that previously mentioned guarantee that my website would stay online 100% of the time, well, they didn't lie. Here's my website showing a perfect 100% uptime score with zero downtime even after two months. However, keep in mind that what you get is basically a bare server and further optimizations can be implemented by you. The best result came from the stress test. When I tested Liquid Web e-commerce website with the same 50 virtual user setup, the results were smooth as butter. There were no errors and my server handled the increase in users marvelously. So there's no shared hosting and the cheapest VPN plan here starts at $15 a month if you opt in for two years upfront. And the renewals, well, it jumps up quite a bit, let's not sugarcoat it, to around 60 bucks a month. But in my opinion, the managed services, the support I got and the ease to manage everything will be well worth the price for any money making website.

Servers here are fully secured and you do get SSL certificates, custom firewalls, onsite and offsite backups and 24/7 server monitoring. So really, Liquid Web service is designed for the biggest and the most important e-commerce projects. Now I'm just gonna conclude that if you have a serious project in need of a good VPS, virtual private server, but don't know how to manage all the nitty-gritty yourself? Liquid Web is the way to go. It offers great performance, a true to their word uptime guarantee, great security and it wraps it all up in a neatly designed controlled dashboard. So, plenty of hosting providers can claim they're the best website hosting for e-commerce but these three actually rise to the challenge. SiteGround is a premium web hosting option oriented toward WordPress sites and is for small to extra large e-commerce sites.

Hostinger is the best e-commerce hosting for smaller businesses that delivers powerful hosting but it's mainly concentrated on small to medium online shops and solo web projects. Liquid Web is a great start if you want to go with a VPS. It's powerful and will be the perfect home to any medium to large mission critical website. I hope you enjoyed this video.
