you will also see how to use SiteGround site tools area to manage your files database

beginning and much more in fact you will know where everything is and what
everything does and what you need to do and not do once we have finished this
beginners tutorial of how to get the most out of SiteGround the number one
web host to successful WordPress websites just before we get started if
you want to skip to a particular part of the tutorial you'll find the timestamps
in the description below I really hope you liked it please subscribe if you do
and make sure to LIKE the video now let's dive in if you haven't got web
hosting through SiteGround you can go to duelfox.com/sg and this will direct
you through this is my affiliate link so if you do buy the hosting through this I
get a small Commission which is much appreciated don't worry you don't pay
any extra just up here on the hosting we've got web hosting or WordPress it
doesn't matter which you press here you can get WordPress hosting through either
option so here we have the three plans StartUp, GrowBig and GoGeek the main
differences between these three are that would start up you just get one web site
so if you only need one web site this is the one you should go for both grow big
and go geek however allow you unlimited web sites so you can host multiple ones
all under the same account web space is also different you get 10 gigabytes with
startup which is more than enough but this does grow with both the grow big
and go geek plans to allow for the fact that you've got more web sites
potentially being hosted there here you'll see that you've also got monthly
visits so this shows you roughly how many monthly visitors your website can
have on any of these three plans you can also upgrade at any time so it's okay to
start out with the startup plan and then just move up to grow big or go geek if
you find that you need to another tip here I've got the currency in pounds
that will change for you depending on where you're visiting from but you'll
see that it's a special price now this is for the first invoice amount so if
you're going to be sticking with your website idea for a while make sure to
buy the hosting for the longest period of time possible that way you're going
to lock in that discounted price for your first invoice for the longest
period of time if we have a quick look at the features that you get some
important ones are the SSL free CDN and also daily backups free
fantastic most hosts actually charge you extra for this it's included for free
with SiteGround you need an SSL certificate to keep your site secure
that's what's going to give you the little padlock up here in the URL
another reason you want this is because Google warns people against visiting
unsecure websites slight Brown also gives you automatic daily backups
they'll keep up to 30 for you which means if anything goes wrong with your
website it's easy to restore back to a safe place and effectively start over
also on all the plans you get a content delivery network so site Brown have
partnered up with CloudFlare this is important for your site speed basically
when somebody visits your website if they're in a different geographical
location to you for example I'm in England so if somebody visits my website
over from America it's gonna serve up the website to them closest to where
they are it's gonna improve site speed and it also improves security for you as
well with both your grow big and go geek plans you get a few extras so grow big
you get on demand backup copies that means you can have up to five manual
copies backed up at your choosing that's excellent if you've got any major
work you're about to do on your website and you just want to keep it safe just
in case something goes wrong more speed optimization with their
caching staging sites which is perfect for when you're going to be doing web
designing this means that any changes are done under a secure subdomain you'll
be able to make the changes check whether everything's working and then
and only then push it over to your live site just so that you're not messing
about with the live site and potentially breaking something and making it all go
horribly wrong add collaborators this means that you can add in people who are
going to be able to come on in make changes to the website for you so if
you've got somebody developing the website for you this is the option you
want to be going for and then with go geek you've got some extra features as
well things like white labeling so if you're going to be building websites for
clients this gets rid of all the site ground branding so you can effectively
sell web hosting or resell it and then they won't see anything to do with site
ground when they enter the back end of their web site dashboard and if you do
need to do anything for them you've always got the site ground support team
behind you makes hosting really easy now it says here you get priority support
and higher tier resources more resources are definitely true and I'm sure it's
true of priority support as well but quite frankly my opinion of both of
these the support is excellent either way you you don't really need to worry
about that when it comes to site ground they are definitely the best for giving
you customer support so when you've looked through these three and chosen
the one that you want just click on get plan for now I'm going to go with grow
big this brings us to the Tuesday main page here you can register a new domain
or if you've already got one you can put in as well
so if we put in site ground dokgo at UK and click proceed it comes
up saying that it's an invalid domain name because of course site ground code
at UK already exists so you need to change and choose something else if we
click over here on the right you can also change the extensions if you
already have a domain you can click this button and put in what it is then we're
on the final step which is just making your purchase put in your email address
create a password put in your normal billing information and card details and
scroll on down down here it confirms what you've selected the plan that
you've chosen your nearest data center and the period that you're wanting to
purchase it for again go for the longest period possible if you're going to be
sticking with your idea to make the most of the saving finally it gives you the
option of adding insight scanner skite scanner basically runs checks for
you to make sure that your site is free of malware it will alert you immediately
if it finds something that shouldn't be there and it'll also just send you
weekly reports so you can keep an eye on it yourself I will show you what this
looks like when we get to the site tools dashboard in a few minutes but it's not
something you have to go for that said it's good to make sure that your website
is malware free and it's not that much extra so personally I would add it in
but it's completely up to you what you want to do well you've made your
decision just make sure to check the boxes down here obviously this one is
optional and then click pay now once you've been through checkout you'll
arrive here at your customer account area you'll also get an email from
SiteGround so you can follow that link if you have
come away from it and once a get back here at any time otherwise just go to
the site grande website and click login which is located up here in the top
right also if ever you get stuck the little question mark just here opens up
the support panel here you're gonna be able to search for any topic and read
through all the support documentation that might help you of course if you're
really stuck and need to speak to somebody or longer ticket click on the
view Help Center come over to contact us and then you'll be able to choose either
technical or advanced technical help the main difference between the two is that
advanced technical support is for if something really strange is starting to
go wrong with your website or if you need access for changing things in files
it gives you quite a few options that you can choose but you don't have to
stick to any of them if we just click this one for example we can always
change the subject and then you can give them a bit more information on what the
problem is that you're facing just give them information here about what the
problem is and then if you can upload a file to support it such as a screenshot
of what the problem is we've done that still what closes down to start working
on your website click on the websites tab if you have existing websites you'll
see them in this area down here and then you can click new website now asks us
whether we want to add a new domain or an existing one well we've just
purchased a domain so I'm going to add an existing domain and click continue so
this is where you can start a brand new website or you can migrate over an
existing one if you currently have a WordPress website this with a different
host other than SiteGround well we're going to be looking at
starting their website but just in case you do want to migrate one you'd click
over here and you then have the option of installing the migrator plugin the
site ground have created basically all you would do is install this plug-in on
your existing website and then it will take you through step by step how to get
it moved over to site ground alternatively you can get it manually
transferred over by the site ground team this will either be a free service or a
paid one on what hosting plan you chose now
you'll see down here that we also have a skip and create empty site option the
only reason you'd ever choose that is if you're having your website developed for
you by somebody else and you don't know what they're gonna be
using whether they going to be using WordPress whether they're going to be
using Drupal or Joomla this is why you choose that option for now we want to
click start new website you've got lots of options available if we click over on
the other tab and then select installation you're going to see lots
and lots of options of course the most common ones are listed first of all
which is wordpress and wordpress plus WooCommerce again it doesn't matter
which one you really choose here because you can always add WooCommerce at
another time if you just choose the WordPress installation if you know that
you're gonna be making an e-commerce store go right ahead and click this
option otherwise if you're not gonna have an online store
just select WordPress it will then ask you to setup your WordPress login
credentials this is really important this is going to be how you get to log
in to your WordPress dashboard and actually make edits to your website next it's going to prompt you again if
you want site scammer if you didn't buy it through the first checkout process
but again you don't have to you can just click finish so installing WordPress is
that simple because now site crown is going to do all the hard work for you
installing the files and databases that you need so that in just a couple of
minutes time you can be able to get straight to work on editing and making
your website there we have it all done website with domain dual Foxx tutorial
Stockholm dot UK has been created coming down here you may see a point name
service so if you haven't purchased a domain directly through site ground and
you purchased it somewhere else it'll show you what your main servers are
there's another area it shows you this as well I'll go through that in just a
second so we will come back to that for now let's go to manage site and here we
are this is the site tools dashboard so this is where your name servers a show
if you didn't just buy in domain name through site ground a few moments ago
and you got it through a different domain name provider all you need to do
is log in with that domain name provider that you bought it through heaven over
to your account click on something like settings and then look for dns settings
so your domain name server settings once you've clicked inside that all you need
to do is copy and paste in what you see here and that's going to point your
domain over to site ground hosting obviously it's much easier if you bought
the domain directly through side ground a few moments ago
you don't have to worry about doing that it's already done for you now if you
want to come back to this at any time I'll show you how if we go to my account
so if you're here at any time just click web sites and here it's going to show
you any web site that you have in your account for the moment we're wanting to
work with duel Fox tutorials code at UK so you can click on site tools if we
click on manage it'll now show a tab that says collaborations if we click
here it says you have not collaborators trying to add a
collaborator to your site click here you can then add a new user and I'll ask you
whether or not you want a collaborator or a client well if you're designing
websites you'd want to add the client but if you're having somebody design it
for you then you'd want to add them as a collaborator you can then choose the
website you'll giving them access to and they will only be able to access that
website so if you have other ones in your account don't worry they won't be
able to see put in their name put in their email and click Add for now I want
to go back to site tools so anytime when you want to do that just click on web
sites and then go to site tools and then we're back here which is super easy so
up at the top here we've got our pin tools you can edit these quite simply
choosing the ones that you're going to be using most often for now though I'm
just going to leave those alone so this is where we start on the dashboard and
as we scroll down you'll see that we've got general overview of the website
we've just created it so we've got no visitors no pageviews and it doesn't
give us information on disk space yet either but it will do if you want to go
straight to WordPress to start editing just come on down to WordPress click on
install and manage and then down here again we've got the little three dots
which opens up a separate menu but next to it
you've got login to admin panel if we click that it's going to take us
straight through to WordPress welcome to a wordpress site click on start now this
thing gives you an overview of different looks that you can had to your site
for now though I'm just going to click continue it asks you whether you want to
add any plugins for the site I'm not going to do that just click continue and
again complete because I don't need to add any plugins at the moment we'll look
at that later on and that's it we can now click go to dashboard and we can log
into WordPress so there we go we've just logged in there's nothing more that we
need to do here for the time being I've got a separate tutorial
that's going to cover how to actually build a website so now we're gonna head
on back to site tools so the layout the site grounds put together here is very
friendly if you are familiar with WordPress at all it's gonna look quite
familiar to you if you've got more than one domain you can click up here to
change otherwise head on down to site and we're gonna start with file manager
so SiteGround lets you edit your own files unless you know exactly what
you're doing I don't suggest that you do this but let's take a look at how it
works so I'm just going to show you how to add a file in case you want to I'm
going to add a robots.txt file to tell search engines that they can crawl the
website the way that we'd do that if we come up here you've got new file or
you've got new folder well these are the folders what I want to do is add a new
file now I'm going to call this robots.txt so what we can then do is
drag the robots file into the public file and then if we look over here on
the left it will have appeared what we can do is double click on it and we can
then start editing I'm just going to copy and paste in here all this is
telling search engines is that they can trawl through the website and that's how
you can just easily create a file and as I've said unless you know what you're
doing it don't do it and you actually don't need to do this because when
you're gonna be installing a theme or even SEO plugins like Yoast or right
math they're gonna create sitemaps and things for you you don't actually need
to add in a robots.txt file search engines are gonna be told to crawl the
website by WordPress anyway so don't worry you don't have to do this I'm just
showing you how simple actually is sycron gives you the ability to if you
don't know what you're doing and you ever have any worries or needs just
contact SiteGround through the support go to the advanced technical support
page that I showed you add a ticket and they'll be able to change anything for
you that needs changing next up we have FTP accounts that stands for File
Transfer Protocol and basically it means that you can move files between your
computer your website and the sir as easily in order to do that you can
use free software like FileZilla and then you'll be able to just simply move
things from your computer and onto the website again for most people you're not
going to have to do this so you can't actually install another version of
WordPress on here so we could do WordPress again that'll be useful if you
want to do a second blog for example so maybe you've got one block with
WordPress and you wants to have another one which was gonna be on a different
you know subject or maybe you wanted a vlog you could do that if you want to
again though it's unlikely that you're gonna want or need to do that but let's
just so you know where it is next you've got MySQL this is used for creating web
databases you're not gonna have to worry about touching it and the same goes for
the next option as well this basically just extends the SQL languages and
functions but it's not something you need to worry about SiteGround takes
care of all this for you and purely showing you that it is there well you
will want to take a look at though is security so if we come here and go to
backups backups will be available shortly so we've only just installed the
website that's why we're not gonna be seeing anything here at the moment
however every single day you're going to get a backup let's put in here and
you're gonna end up with a list as I mentioned before you'll have up to 30
backup to the time and then if something does go wrong with a website or you make
a change that you don't like you can come into this section click on restore
which will be over here in your list and then you can be able to restore that
version of the website I'll quickly show you what that looks like if I change ok
so if you're switched over to dil Fox comm and this is what your backups page
will look like so down here we've got 30 backups we've got one manual backup that
I've done when I was making changes to the file manager and then if we wanted
to restore any of these you can click over here and choose to restore all
files and databases or pure lead files and databases or emails if you have them
I'll change back next up we have the ssl manager so this
is where you can create a certificate for your website so what we need to do
is select what we want you can have let's encrypt let's encrypt a wild card
or a premium wild card well you don't need this the message going to be
creating subdomains for the moment just for our website we want the normal let's
encrypt SSL and then we can click get alternatively if you already have one
elsewhere you can click import and then you'll be able to put in the details of
it here click the import button and a delayed it onto the website sometimes
even after you've installed the SSL on to your website when you go over to
WordPress you'll find that it's still saying that it isn't secure all you need
to do is come over to here https enforce click enforce and then it will make the
site secure for you protected URLs is next so this is where you can make
something inaccessible to normal people so for example if you're doing
development on a website you might just want to have a coming soon welcome page
for people when they find it but you can then secure other URLs password protect
them and can control what users are actually able to access on the website
then we've got blocked IPs unfortunately you are probably going to
come under attack at times it happens far too often unfortunately with
websites and if you get a good security plug-in something like I themes security
Pro then you're going to be protected against things like that but sometimes
you're going to see a lot of attacks from the same ip address if you do then
you can just take that IP address put it in here and block it and they will no
longer be able to try accessing your website and then we have site scanner so
again this just tells you about reports and you can get site scanner from here
if you didn't do it already I'll show you what this looks like again so sight scanner this is what you'll see
it scans it daily for you tells us that there's no threats found we can click on
notifications so if you turn this off you will still get notifications if it
detects anything immediately wrong but it's good to keep it on because that way
you're gonna get the weekly summary of exactly what's been going on on the
website but you can also see that here and reports as well I'll change back so
that's everything under the security panel next up we've got speed first we
have CloudFlare so with sight ground you get the basic account you can upgrade it
to premium but there generally isn't that much need for that basic is good
enough you create an account or connect an existing one activate it and
configure it all you need to do is click the setup button create an account or
connect existing very simple step-by-step again I'll show you what it
looks like so I'll do a proper tutorial on this and go into detail but if you do
set it up and follow the steps just linking it through this is the dashboard
that you're going to come to just a basic account and these are all the
default settings that are turned on for you as well and settings IP access
control subdomains sometimes you're going to come up with this so what what
CloudFlare does is redirect everything to WWE and it will occasionally come up
with these don't worry if it does again all you need actually need to do is log
a ticket the SiteGround they'll sort it out for you so for example it still
comes up with these warnings but actually isn't a problem it does work
perfectly fine I'll show you so if we look up here we've got the
padlock we click on it and it tells us is HTTPS wwhen that tutorial exactly how
we clear through this and set it up properly for now let's head on back so
let's move on to caching so this is SiteGround super kasia this is should be
on by default if not turn it on turn this on as well
dynamic cache this is part of the SG optimizer again I'll have a separate
tutorial for it but this is an installed plug-in so when you go to your WordPress
website you'll find it's already installed let me show you so if ever you
want to get to your wordpress dashboard again all you need to do is put in the
website address forward slash WP – admin that takes us to our wordpress dashboard
and if we go to plugins you'll see that we have s G optimizer automatically
installed so if we went to that this is where we can then go through and start
turning on optimization settings again I'll go through all this properly in a
separate tutorial but that is what that is relating to just up here okay so
let's move on to WordPress so as you know this is your install and manage
page that we looked at before we then have staging so if you want to create a
staging copy of a website this is where you'll do it this is really useful for
if you're wanting to make big changes so for example if you're going to be trying
out a new theme or you're installing new plugins or just generally designing your
website for the first time you can create a staging area this means that
any changes that you make under that staging domain will not affect your
primary domain not until you tell them to so once you've created a staging copy
you can make all the changes you want and when you're ready you can come here
and then you'll be able to click deploy and that will push it over to the live
site but that just gives you plenty of time to test and make sure that
everything is working as it should be and there's nothing broken and you're
not risking doing something to your live website that could potentially break it
or badly affect the people who are going to be using your website if I create a
staging site I'll call it example for now there we go staging example is created
so I'll click login to admin panel it's gonna come up with a warning ok didn't
and sometimes it comes up with a warning where it says the website is not secure
if it does don't worry all you do is you look around this area click the little
drop down under advanced and click proceed to staging site that'll take you
through okay so this is now the staging website
and I'll show you how if we make a change here it's not actually going to
affect the live website so if we take a look at the live website a moment so
this is the default theme that's been applied we've not done any changes at
all this is completely what is on there pre-installed by WordPress now let's
just say that this is exactly what we wanted we've spent a long time designing
this and it's exactly what we want if I came over to plugins and for whatever
reason I decided that I didn't want this and I didn't want that and I delete all
of them and then I think to myself actually I didn't want to do that or we
make another change to the website and something breaks or we've uploaded a
plug-in and it's gone wrong and it's interfered with something it's only
affecting this staging area if we go to the actual website we see that
everything is still there and as it should be so that's how you should use
staging websites just to do any changes that you're not sure about and then you
can check through them fully make sure that they're what you want before then
deploying them to the main site okay so let's say that now I have made a lot of
changes and I do like it I've tested it it all works fine I can click over here
and then I could do destroy custom deploy full deploy replicate or rename
well if everything was fine I'd just do a full deploy if in this case I don't
want it I can click destroy and now I'll get rid
of it so that is how staging works and how you should use it next up we have
the migrator again if you do want to migrate an existing website over to this
one you should install the migrated plugin
that I mentioned earlier and just follow the simple steps then we have auto
update so this is where you can choose whether or not you want things to be
automatically updated by site Brad tells you whether you're up-to-date at the
moment here we've got major releases we can set whether we want them to be
immediate or after a delay I tend to prefer after a delay minor releases you
can choose I don't want this big media and whether you want to keep plugins
updated I do so I'll leave it like that we can get a last backup and obviously
once we have the site live for a while it'll show those here as well and then
we go to domain so we have Park domains this is where you can have more than one
domain that's feeding into your site so if you do have several domains you can
put them in here then you can point them towards your one site and that way if
somebody for example is to click on dual folks tutorials com it would take them
through to jail for up to Toral's doc had at UK then you have subdomains so
this is where you've got the little dot in front of your actual web site you can
create as many subdomains as you want and this is useful sometimes for example
if you've got an e-commerce store so you will see this with websites sometimes
you'll be browsing around you'll click on shop and then up in the URL it'll
change and it'll go to store dot such and such for example obviously site
tools is a subdomain for site ground which is why we've got tools
SiteGround comm and then you can actually have different themes different
plugins all installed on your subdomain so it is a separate website in a sense
but it's connected to your main website extends functionalities gives you more
options there's debate on whether it affects SEO I think that it does to a
degree obviously if you're using a subdomain for example a online store
then whatever the content you're putting on that particular store is not going to
feed through to your normal website so just bear that in mind when you're
creating subdomains that your content is not necessarily going to add up to the
search engine optimization that you're doing on your normal website so only use
it when you need to don't don't overuse it you should only
use subdomains if and when you need them most people probably aren't going to
need them but this is where you'd create one for example a store if you wanted to
then we have redirects so this can be really useful if you get four or four
pages for example which is where somebody is trying to reach a certain
page of your website and it doesn't exist
that's called a 404 page instead of them just being lost what you can do if you
see it happening again and again which you you will see you'll start to get
information on where people are visiting then you can create a redirect so for
example if I found that somebody was searching for and Jill fucks the trolls
Daugherty UK about let's just say that didn't exist I could have that redirect
to the correct page so then I could have it redirect over to that URL instead so
if somebody typed this in to the search engine it would take them here instead
once you've created one you'll see it appear down here this is default just
leave that alone and then we'll move on to the DNS zone editor you don't need to
edit anything on this page just leave it as default as it is email so you always
want to have a professional email address people trust those a lot more
for example I wouldn't want to have dual Foxx tutorials at gmail.com or at
yahoo.com because that wouldn't look very
professional here you can create your own email address so I can have Jack
and that would be Jack at your folks tutorial stock code at UK now although
you can create webmail here and you can create as many as you want
webmail is not ideal I'd suggest that you don't do it I've got a different
article on G suite and also Microsoft 365 who are going to be much better for
creating professional email addresses with and that's also going to make it a
lot easier for you to connect up with email marketing providers places like
MailChimp may delight convertkit it's not great when you're doing it with
webmail here also if you create emails through here you're often going to find
that they appear in people's junk folders and spam folders now you can use
an SMTP which you should do there's different plugins for that and it
basically just means that people are going to get your emails they're not
going to arrive in the junk folder as much it's still gonna happen when you're
using webmail one of the main reasons is with WordPress especially with shared
hosting it only takes one person on your shared hosting to be abusing or spamming
people with email and it's gonna get you blacklisted
so it can be something that you've not done at all just generally best to stay
away from it use somewhere like G suite or Microsoft 365 to create a
professional email address and it's gonna be a lot easier for you going
forwards that said if you really want to you can simply create email addresses
for yourself here I just personally wouldn't if you do decide to do that you
can then create forwarders so if obviously somebody emails an email you
can have it sent from one address to another one auto responders so out of
offices you can set those here filters so here you can basically choose rules
for what you want to happen with email so for example forwarding etc affording
sorting discarding and then you have authentication and spam protection which
is going to try and help you out and get emails delivered where possible as I
said it's it's just not the perfect solution I do suggest that you go with
somewhere else if you do want to use webmail it's quite simple just put in
the name that you want and then create a password and when you've done that click
on create and there we go email is created so now we have it down here and
what we can do click on the dots and log in to web mail so this is now are not
particularly great-looking webmail interface again another reason I prefer
someone like G suite but it obviously can be useful so if I compose an email I
send it to and then if I send that it'll say message sent successfully and then
I'll check my emails and there we see high test email bubble over that's come
through I can reply and now if I click refresh we should see
that come through and there it is so we have it really quite simple and
considering its free email that comes with it it's certainly a good place to
start it's just not something that I'd be using if you're wanting to scale out
especially as I mentioned when you get onto using email marketing providers you
don't want to be using this with them but for now it'll get you up and running
so I'm going to come out of here okay so let's take a look at statistics so
obviously we've just created this website company we've got 0 visitors but
this is where you're going to get information from Cyclone about who
exactly is visiting a website how much bandwidth is being used average number
of pages are visited per person on average how many pages have been viewed
in total and how many unique visitors your website has had so it's not
counting repeat visitors up here we can select the month we can also view it as
a table and that gives us the actual numbers we'll be able to get information
on the audience so where abouts they're visiting from where they've come from
whether it's search engines referrers or what keywords you're being found for
behavior about how they're interacting with your website and technology covers
what devices they're using and visiting you from that can help you so for
example if you're seeing that most of your visitors are coming through on
mobile you might want to focus a little bit more attention on that make it a bit
more interactive for them so this is where you get to see your error log and
most decent errors and then you have the access log and that'll show you who's
actually accessing your user area so it will only be you a site ground alerts
you of somebody else tries to access it just make sure you do use a secure
password then we've got the development section if you are building websites for
people you do need to be on the go geek plan in order to have access to the git
repository but all of these things you're not going
to be using these unless you are actually developing websites the PHP
manager PHP version is updated automatically this is what you want lets
SiteGround do it for you that way you don't have to manually go in and do it
and this is where you can provide keys to people to actually come in and make
changes to the website at a distance but again if ever you do need this sort of
thing it's better to speak to side ground they can do most things for you
anyway and that is it that is all of the settings on the site tools so it's
actually not that scary really quite easy to navigate and just when you start
to get more website visitors and using it more that's when you're gonna start
to see the information that's important the most useful things for you to be
using are security so you can set up your SSL Certificates enforcing those
SSL certificates checking on site scanner so you can make sure that you
haven't got any malware they're going to speed and setting up the CDN caching
just make sure that these are all on these workers are mentioned with the SG
optimizer plugin I'll put the link to that in the description you can look at
the brief tutorial on what all those different settings do again it's really
quick and easy to setup it'll really make a good difference the speed and
optimization of your website WordPress so that you can install and manage come
down here to login to the admin panel or just remember to go to the URL forward
slash WP – admin staging so that you can create safe environments to test out new
plugins new themes or make changes to the website without risking breaking
your life one and of course backups where just in case anything does go
wrong and you have done something that you regret you can go in and restore a
previous version like all things with the WordPress it
